Micah Cover has been studying magic since the age of eight and performing magic professionally since 1995. He is a board member of the Hollywood chapter of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, a member of Kidabra and a Magician Member, tour guide and performer at the world-famous Magic Castle. He has performed Tarot Card readings at the Hollywood Cemetery and in the world's most famous haunted ship, the Queen Mary. Micah has also performed his mentalism act for the North Carolina Museum of Life & Science for the opening of their Paranormal Exhibit. He has performed for comedian John Mendoza, academy award-winning actress Jane Fonda, academy award-winning director Anthony Minghella, King of Queens's Victor Williams, the Los Angeles Dodgers and for the Guiness Book of World Records's "Fastest Hands in the World," magician Jeff McBride.
Micah is a graduate of the famous School for Scoundrels, where he studied under magicians Whit Haydn, Chef Anton, Doc Eason and Bob Sheets. Micah has also studied under magicians Aldo Colombini and Daryl as well as mentalists Eugene Burger and Max Maven.
Micah created the role of Sonny the Magician for Peter Fox's original play, Disappearing Act, and he was also the magical consultant for the show. He was also the magical consultant for Sanderson High School's production of The Tempest. He was the co-writer and consultant for magician Michael Creech's lecture notes, The To Do List. He produced the show The Raven, where he and several other mentalists performed bizarre magic for the Red Cross. He has taught magic and mentalism for Raleigh Little Theatre, the North Carolina Museum of Life and Science, the Summer Arts Academy, the Children's Arts Institute and the FunSmart Institute. |
